Gown Handling Tips

Avoid trying to remove stains yourself. Spillages should be blotted with a clean, white cloth and never rubbed.

Avoid spraying perfume directly onto your dress, especially if it’s silk, as this will cause discolouring.

To ensure minimum damage to your train, hook it up with the loops provided.

To help us obtain the best results, ensure you have your dress cleaned as soon as possible, but no later than three months.

Once your dress is cleaned and boxed, store your gown in a cool and dry environment. Drastic temperature changes may create moisture around the box, causing the dress to oxidise.

What a stunning dry cleaners.. gone are the days of the hit of chemical smell you get when you walk in to have your suits dry cleaned.
Two bays is soft, stylish, fragrant and welcoming.
They have provided me and my family the gift of time, taking on our washing and kids stained clothing.
The staff were so patient while explaining their process to me and I will confidently say that I will be a lifetime customer 🥰

A spa for my wardrobe! My clothes and bedlinen smell amazing. All sorted by towels/linens, kids and adult clothes, which makes my life so much easier. My dry cleaning is immaculate (removed all stains) and doesn’t have that chemical smell. Awesome customer service. Delivery is super fast. Can’t recommend enough! Thanks guys.

Fairly new and upmarket laundrette near Mornington that will likely gather new customers as they cater for cleaning larger items like doonas and bed covers etc in a environmentally friendly way. A similar outlet closed down in Benton Square a year or two ago. The female staff attendant was friendly and they were efficient. You need to turn left into this warehouse style setup from Nepean Hwy going south towards Mornington village (prior to Officeworks and Bunnings) Worth a try although a little more expensive

So here I am thinking this was just your regular run of the mill dry cleaner.. well it’s not! This place is beyond exceptional!!! Not only did my jacket come back repaired and clean but it smells sooooo fresh and the service is next level amazing! I’m not usually one to leave a review, but when a business stands out, I will! I have taken several garments to Two Bays Laundry for dry cleaning since they opened recently and they have done an amazing job! I even trusted them with my Nanna’s mohair vintage cardigan which I’ve never let anyone else near.

Their dry cleaning services are PERC-free and organic. So not only do you know that your garments are being extremely well looked after, but you can wear them again knowing it’s safer and healthier, plus better for the environment!

The owners are absolutely lovely people, who are locals, and even make the effort to know you by name and have a nice chat. Their service is professional and efficient, and the overall customer experience is excellent.

I have gone to so many different dry cleaning and alterations places across the eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne over the years, and have never been overly happy with the quality of their services, nor customer experience, until now!

I’m so glad I found Two Bays Laundry, especially as I prefer to support small businesses too, I highly recommend this wonderful business!

Excited to have this new service in town – Took in a few “challenger” pieces – puffer jackets that had seen one too many Melbourne winters and looked ready for retirement.
